1. I surveyed MOUNT IDA BAPTIST CEMETERY in 1992. I believe it's in Talladega County but not sure (I was driving the back roads and could have crossed county lines). There's about 70 burials and the adjoining church didn't seem to be in use. This cemetery is not listed at USGS. The earliest date of burial is 1911. SURNAMES include: Ferguson, Burton, Newsome, Morris, Gable, Griffin, Edwards, Wade, Patterson, Cooper, Patman, Tabler, Farris, Claybrook, Harvell, Jones, Sexton, George, Partain, Kachelhofer, Thrasher, Parker, Blackman, McGrady, Barber 2. I surveyed a cemetery in the LINCOLN AREA in 1997. It's located on Hwy #77, immediately south of Interstate 20, on the right. It had 29 burials. There is a church on the property but I couldn't find a NAME anywhere. The earliest date of burial is 1978 so it's a new cemetery. I believe this area of Lincoln is in Talladega Co. SURNAMES include: Feaster, Wallace, Gaddis, McGordis, White, Curry, Jemison, Goldsby, Glover, Miller, Newsome, Finly, Crockron, McKenzie, Chatman, Chapman, Tuck, Brock I'd like to add these surveys to my website but I need to know the county located/name first.
