    2. There are several cemeteries in Golden Springs. There's a fairly new one, and several old ones. Forestlawn, on Golden Springs Rd., is the newest. It is very large and is in use. There's a small Miller family cemetery in the middle of an Industrial area off Greenbriar; one is connected to the Congregational Methodist Church on Raemon Rd.; and one is on Greenbriar called Union Grove. This one used to be connected to the Union Grove Congregational Church. E-mail me privately and I'll help you more if you need it. 3. I'm trying to find out what cemeteries my husband's NOLEN; PATTERSON and JOHNSON families might be buried around Piedmont. The burials would start in the mid 1860s forward. Any ideas appreciated. I also have a copy of a photo of adults and children from the Baptist Church of 1909. Many are PATTERSONs, but there are other people identified if anyone is interested. 3. Researching an Andrew Jackson Bowen born March 30, 1819 in Georgia. He was marrried around 1840 to 1845. He had two children by the names of James W. Bowen and Lucinda Bowen. He later married Mary Lee Hayes in Carroll County, Georgia in 1853. Andrew and Mary had thirteen children together. They later moved to Clay County, Alabama. They moved around quite a bit between Georgia and Alabama. It does appear that some of the children were born in Carroll County, Georgia and the rest in Clay County, Alabama near the city of Lineville. He later died on April 10, 1877 right before his move back to Georgia. If anyone is researching this family line please contact me about your research and I will share information with you. Thank you, Cory Bowen.
