Submission and pre-ordering deadline: October 31, 1999. Tallapoosa August 20 & October 1 at 10:00 AM in Veteran's Center, Alexander City. Mail address: Tallapoosa Heritage Book Committee, P.O. Box 568, Camp Hill, Al 36850. Submission and pre-ordering deadline is October 31, 1999. Price $59.00. Don't know how firm this is. Dorothy Folmar of the Pike Co mail list has been posting some very helpful suggestions on the Pike Co Book. Those of you who are interested may subscribe to the Pike Co list and benefit from these helpful sugestions. Others of you who are working on the books for your county, please feel free to post suggestions also along with progress reports on you county list. This could help all who are interested.
