Phillips and Sophia Jane Phillips all teenagers) had received money from hire of their slaves in 1851 and 1852 and also had received cash from the estate of Moses Brinson [?], deceased of Ga. I am struggling trying to understand the relations ship of Moses Brinson to the Phillips children. The children's deceased father was Benjamin Phillips. They were all born in Georgia and then relocated to Alabama. Also amongst them is William Bullard and his wife and children who too were born in Georgia and relocated to Alabama.
