In response to Delbra's suggestion for names - My GGGGG-Father was Arthur SIZEMORE. He married Mary Bailey, daughter of a Creek Indian in what is now Baldwin Co. Very few of these ancestors of ours were allowed to keep their land after the Creek Indian War. Many of them who were not shipped to Oklahoma eventually migrated upward in AL through other counties. Their story is to be found on a number of websites (besides all the historical books written about them.) I would like to suggest one website: http://www.gulftel.com/~nobles/hathcock.htm. They have a number of census records online and you might find your surname there.
