    1. Fw: Photos of Unidentified persons

    3. They were a number of persons having responded to my suggestion of photos of unidentified persons. It seems to me the best way to organize such a task, is to at least list the photos by the county, possible Town, and maybe even list who had the picture in their possession. Because photos are passed down from generation to generation, a person may not be able to link themselves to the face of the photo, but maybe the carrier of the picture will have a greater significance to the person trying to identify the individuals in the picture especially for the town they are researching. My family relocated to the North in the early 60's. Of course the older adults have wonderful memories to share about their childhood, but I can't possibly put a face on any of the persons they are speaking of. Only until I traveled to Alabama was I able to understand and even relate to their memories. Imagine trying to do so with families that grew up in the late 1800's - early 1900's. I am not a scholar to all of the computer servers and how they work, but if someone truly wants to help the genealogical process, it seems other than the internet, this could truly help everyone. delbra could truly help everyone. delbra
