    3. Hi There Fellow Listers - Wondering if the query sent out by JoAnn on THOMPSON PLANTATION has anything to do with one of my ancestors - SARA THOMPSON (1831 - 1899) who married JAMES MCANDREW (1822 - 1897) in 1848 in Macon Co., AL. I believe SARA THOMPSON's parents to be: WILLIAM THOMPSON and ELIZABETH RANKEN, but know nothing about them - other than they were from Ayrshire, Scotland and settled in the Macon - Bullock area. I beleive they had another child H.C. THOMPSON (1835 - 1887). Any relation to this THOMPSON PLANTATION or any other THOMPSON's out there? Would LOVE to share info on these people! Thanks so much for your time.
