In July, the manager of the Union Springs Court House (Bullock Co.) records department said they were in the process of preparing to have their documents put on microfilm. Perhaps if enough of us contact him he will make sure the newspapers are also filmed. I was on the third floor in 1992 when I first began my research. At that time, I was too new at research and was overwhelmed. As I recall, It is extremely hot up there. I have returned to the court house and the area at least four additional times to do research, but I have not gone to the third floor again. I had planned to do so this year, but because of the amount of time I spent in Barbour and Coffee Co. I did not have time. Maybe next year... Emily
