My great-great-grandparents were John Brinkley Burks and Temperence Evans, of China Grove, Pike County, Alabama. They were buried in Old Union Primative Baptist Church Cemetery, Bullock County, Alabama. He was born in 1807 and died in 1888. His parents were William Burks, Jr. and Mary Dunston.
