Posted on: Bullock County, Al Query Forum Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Al/Bullock?read=275 Surname: WATTS, ROTTON ------------------------- Can anyone help me locate some of my wife's "missing" relatives who lived in SW Bullock Co. in the early 1900's (and maybe later)? There were three siblings that I know of, all first cousins of my wife's grandfather, James Allie WATTS(1887-1949): First: James "Jim" WATTS/ ...(b. ca Jan 1872, living in Bullock Co. in 1900) married ca 1894: Elvan? (last name not known)/ ...(b. ca Nov 1875)/ ...their daughters (from 1900 Bullock census): ---Addie WATTS b. Jan 1895 ---Willie L. WATTS b. May 1897 (fem.) ---Nettie WATTS b. Jan 1899/ ...(probably others, not known) Second: William J. "Will" WATTS/ ...(b. ca 1875, living in Bullock Co. in 1920) married 7 May 1908 Bullock Co.:/ ...Addie Bell ROTTON (b. ca 1892?)/ ...their children included these: ---Christine Rebecca b. ca 1915 ---Tiny Irene b. ca 1917 ---Annie A. b. ca 1919 (one of these, or perhaps another born after 1920, married a John J. KIRKLAND and later lived in Montgomery) Will and Addie WATTS lived in Beat 10 (listed as Farriorville in 1910, and as Post Oak in 1920). Third: Sarah "Sallie" WATTS/ ...(born ca 1879) [Sallie must have died young, as nothing more about her has come down through the family.] Best regards, Ron Head (Montgomery, AL) ronhead@knology.net
