Can someone tell me how I might obtain these records?" If you know the Lodge in which these gentlemen were members, you can research the membership records of that lodge at the state headquarters (Grand Lodge) here in Montgomery, on Vaughn Road. Every Lodge filed a membership report once a year, listing every member of the Lodge by name, and the officers, and data on dues collected, etc. Many of the reports I've seen also list the members who died during that year, and the dates of their deaths. Unfortunately, the staff of the Grand Lodge cannot research these records for you--it is necessary to come to the facility and go through them yourself, or contract for someone in this area to do it for you.
