I am searching for information on John Thomas TANNER b July 4, 1865/69 who married Joeanna JOHNSTON/JOHNSON b Oct 7, 1871 and had at least six children, Mabel TANNER SPRADLEY b. May 11, 1898,in Calhoun Co, AL ; Winnie TANNER SEARCY, Ruth TANNER HOBBS; William TANNER, Hosea TANNER and Johnny TANNER. They were listed on the 1910 Talledega Co census, I am told, but have not been able to see it for myself. They may have lived in Hokes Bluff AL at some time. Mabel TANNER married Clarence Victor SPRADLEY Oct 23, 1912 in Talladega CO, Al, and later moved to Tuscaloosa. I have received information that some relatives of this line may have settled in Oklahoma. I was told by my father that he was "part Creek Indian", but I did not question him for details before it was too late. Does this match any of your information?
