    2. Looking for information on Jones Chapel Cemetery, in Cullman County. A friend found in Cullman county Churches and Cemeteries Vol II that the Jones Chapel Cemetery predates the 1850's. The oldest marked grave is for twin daughters of Daniel James & Martha Jane James, and died on August 8, 1856. Because of the location of this grave it is apparent that a number of graves without names and dates would have been placed in the cemetery prior to 1856. There are approximately 482 graves marked with either no name or date, or illegible names and dates. At present the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church and Church of Christ Jones Chapel are active and next to the cemetery. Looking for any information that might be out there. Daniel James is my Great-Great-Grandfather. His father Isaac James is probably buried there, as is my Great-Grandfather Louis James. I feel several other family members are buried in the cemetery. All in unmarked graves. Thanks Chuck James, Montgomery Alabama
