Looking for information on the James family of Cullman Alabama. I found my great-great-granfather listed in 1900 Cullman census. Daniel James, b May 1828 in TN as was his father and mother. Age 72 at 1900 census living with Becky J. James, b FEB 1857. Next door was my great-grandfather Louis James, b Dec 1859 with wife Martha A.N.F.L.E. Speakman, b 1862. Children listed Treley J. James, b Nov 1882; Tanzy L.E. James, b Oct 1885; Razely M. James, b Oct 1888; Juliann James, b Feb 1892; Desey D.A. James, b May 1894; and my grand-father Isom James, May 1897. Think Daniel, Louis and Martha and probably other family are buried at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church in graves marked only with small stones. Seeking any information I can find. Would love to find out who Daniel was married to and is she buried at Jones Chapel also. Found Ambros James, b 1873 with his wife Berthenia A. James, b May 1881 GA, with their infant child New Berry James. Think Ambors is the younger brother of Louis and Becky. Where did all these James people go? My dad was in the Air Force so we did not live in Cullman and I don't know the family history. I am a 42 year old police sergeant in Montgomery, Alabama. Any one can help me out there, I would appreciate it. Thanks Chuck James.
