But I'm pretty sure he was living in the vicinity of New Lebanon Churh/Cemetery, probably along Blue Springs Creek in the north part of Blount County, NE of Blountsville. Goodwin Killion purchased land in Blount Co. from the government as follows: Date Range Twnship Section Part acres 7/30/1833 1E 10S 28 W1/2SW 80 10/16/1835 1E 10S 33 NENW 40 9/10/1838 1E 10S 33 NWNE 40 Anderson Killion purchased the following: 9/10/1838 1E 11S 8 NENW 40 That should be just NE of Blountsville. Gabriel Hanby purchased the following: 5/1/1823 1W 15S 31 W1/2NE 80 That may be in present day Jefferson County. David Hanby purchased: 4/12/1824 2W 15S 25 W1/2NE 80
