Goodwin KILLION was ordained in about 1823-1825 as a Methodist Minister in Blount Co. Can anyone help me get to the church records of this event ? Goodwin was also in the 1830 census. Does anyone know if it is possible to determine his specific location within Blount Co from the "house number" indicated on the census form? Goodwin and his family were in Blount Co from about 1817 until 1838. His family married into the following surnames while in Blount Co: John Anderson KILLION married Nancy MOORE in Blount Co May 6, 1824. William KILLION married Delila MORTON in Blount Co July 1, 1829. Pricilla KILLION married Jesse MORTON in JUly 1836. Thomas KILLION married Charlotte BURNS March 6, 1836 in Blount Co.. This couple remained in Blount Co., had at least 2 sons (Rueben and Lewis). Malinda KILLION married Uriah Sherrill Nesmith Nov 29, 1834. This couple remained in Blount Co and had 3 sons (Isaacs, John & Uriah and two daughters Elizabeth and Martha). Thomas Killion and Malinda (Killion) Nesmith died and their respective spouses married one another (Uriah married Charlotte Sep 14, 1856). They had one son (Alexander Nesmith). Nancy KILLION married Benjamin EASLEY, date unknown. Elizabeth KILLION married a Benjamin KENNEDY, date unknown. It may be possible that Perry KILLION married Martha MINCHEW in Blount Co but that cannot be confirmed.
