Thomas MANNING m. ?? ca 1829 had 3 children who all list birthplace as Tenn even though Thomas was a landowner in Ala. The mystery is who & where did he marry. Have searched all the records available but still cannot find name of my g-g-grandmother. Thomas m. #2 in 1841, Lucinda PARKER and ligitimized their 3 children b. 1835 to 1840. The PARKERS, TIDWELLS, RODENS, READS, RICKETTS and many other families all came through Tenn. together from the Carolinas. Please, any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
