(Looks like this might be either the Garden City or Hanceville area) Mr. Mead presented the petition of Reuben Hays, praying the passage of a law to authorize him, as the executor of Ann Hays, deceased, to sell certain real estate therein named, or certificate therein mentioned; which was read, and referred to the judiciary committee. http://www.legislature.state.al.us./misc/history/acts_and_journals/1826/house-journal/Nov_22.html Mr. Mead presented the petition of Nancy Allison, Vineyard Crawford, A.
