Dear list members, Is anyone on the list a descendant of the William M. Morton, Jr. who married Ann Samuals in Blount Co. on Jan. 15, 1832? If so, I'd like to communicate with you about our lines. I've recently found out, with the help of Melba Lowe, that they were the parents of my gggreat-grandmother Rebecca Morton Phillips Walker. She was married to my my gggreat-grandfather, Jesse P. Phillips, who was killed in the Civil War. I just obtained a copy of their Marriage Record and would like to know more about them, especially if they spent their later years in the County and died here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
