The Walker County Genealogical Society will meet Thursday, September 26, 2002, in the Carl Elliott Regional Library, Jasper , Alabama, at 1:00 PM. Our speaker will be Ms. Melba Clark, Decatur, Al. Her topic will be "A Look At Land Records." Ms. Clark's father, Grady Robbins, was born in Walker County. If any of you are a member of Alabama-L, you will recognize her as the Melba that has the answers to most of our questions. (The other Melba from Blount County has the balance of the answers.)
