The annual Wilson Reunion will be Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002, at the Sumiton Community Center. The Community Center is located off Main Street in Sumiton, Alabama, behind Bozeman's Grocery Store. The Center will be open at 10:00 AM. Bring a covered dish. Drinks, plates, cups, glasses, and silverware will be provided. Come, bring family pictures, pictures of grandparents, and family descendant sheets. WalMart is nearby for those who wish to make copies of the pictures and a copy machine is nearby for copying descendant sheets. Sanders James and Dorcas's children married and raised their families in Blount, Walker, St. Clair, and Jefferson Counties. The Wilson Cemetery is located off 69 Hwy. East of Boldo. Known locations of descendants residences were Boldo area, Piney Woods, Jasper, Cordova, Dora, western Blount County, and Oneonta. All descendants of James and Dorcas Wilson are invited to attend.
