Summit Post Office: Using Terry's instruction to the Summit School ...{US Hwy. 231 and 278 at Rainbow X-ing, north of Blountsville. Follow US Hwy. 231 north approx. 5 miles. The old school is on the right...} you will be at a cross roads ... you are on US 231 N... to your right is Co Rd 25... going to Browns Valley. To your left is Co Rd 48. 48 takes you to Old Summit P. O. It would be about 1/4 mile to a road on your left that leads to the Summit Cemetery. The Old Haden Home is here on the corner ... left side of 48. This is what you would call main street. The Post Office was about 200 to 300 ft from the corner on your left. If you look real close you may be able so see the old building. The spring is on up the road on the left as the road turns. Back on US 231 N about 500 ft on the left is the Summit Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
