The Walker County Genealogical Society monthly meeting will be, Thursday, July 25, 2002, at 10:00 AM at the Research Library, Wallace State College, Hanceville, Alabama. Mr. Bob Davis will meet us and introduce us to the many facets of the genealogy research floors. As you know, they have an abundance of War Between the State/Civil War materials. Wallace State also is a LDS Family History IGI center. Bring pencils, notebooks/paper, quarters and dimes for making copies. For those on the eastern side of the county, we will meet at 9:00 AM, in the Sumiton Walmart parking lot, west side near David's Pharmacy. One group will be leaving from Jasper. If you want to share a ride or need a ride from Jasper or Sumiton, send me an e-mail. Lunch will be on your own. There is a cafeteria at Wallace State, and several places to eat off campus.
