    3. Sue, There is a Kendalville Precinct on the Jefferson Co., AL 1860 census. Using some of the persons listed in that precinct and BLM records for persons who bought land about 1858 or so, I have determined that they were located in T14S R2W; T15S R2W; T16S R2W; T14S R3W; T15S R3W; T16S R3W. With that many townships, it seems to be quite a large area. But in some of the townships, only a few sections near the edge next to another one were listed. Some of the persons used were: pg 669 Samuel Rogers; pg 670 Ambrose Doss; pg 671 James G. Rogers;Jesse Hughes; pg 672 James Wilson; Elijah Goodwin; Thomas Anderson; William Goodwin; Maning Goodwin (2); pg 675 Julian Nail; Luke Nail; Hope this helps, Melba ------------original Message ----------- From: "Sue Smith" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, May 27, 2002 6:29 PM Subject: [ALBLOUNT-L] Kendalville Precinct > Hello Everyone, > > Can anyone tell me where "Kendalville Precinct" of 1859 is located today?
