Melba and Glenda, There is a virus out there that will SPAM using an infected computer's e-mail address. Some servers have software that look for patterns that resemble SPAM. When I read Melba's e-mail on the subject, that was the first thing that popped into my mind. Computers are great but they have absolutely no commonsense. When their lack of commonsense causes a problem, as in the case of Melba, we just need a nice human like Glenda to step in and sort it all out :^) You do a great service managing the Blount county list and I have had some great successes using it. Thanks again. Dr. Randall M. Haney, Jacksonville, FL. -----Original Message----- From: G. Hi everyone, I've written Melba privately, but wanted to post something to the list, too, since I know I'd be pretty darn upset to learn that Melba was being removed from the ALBlount mailing list! First, let me assure everyone that I value Melba's participation on ALBlount and would never dream of removing her from the list. She's definitely a member in good standing. :-) I think what happened is that Melba was removed from the list by an automatic function of the Rootsweb mailing list software after more than three emails were returned from her account. I've resubscribed her. :) Glenda ALBlount List Admin Doug & Melba Lowe at [email protected] wrote: Your long message back to me as to why I have been removed from the list makes no sense to me at all. I have only been posting useful Bible records and info to the sites that I subscribe to, and some of the emails you mentioned towards the end of the long rejection letter to me, are not familiar to me at all. What bounced mails are you speaking of? I have no idea what you are talking about...Melba Lowe
