The Walker County Genealogical Society, Inc. will meet Thursday, November 21, 2002, 1:00 PM, at the Carl Elliott Regional Library, Jasper, Alabama. Note: We are meeting one week early because of the Thanksgiving holidays. The Nominating Committee will offer new slate of officers for the year 2003. Nominations may be made from the floor. Roger Starnes, Walker County Revenue Dept., will be our speaker. Roger is familiar with every corner of Walker County, and knows a lot about old homesteads, settlers, and cemeteries in the area.
