Hi, Blount county researchers! Has anybody connected Mamie Roden, who everyone says was the wife of Robert Tidwell, and the mother of my gg grandfather William Tidwell, with the George Roden living beside Robert in the 1830 Blount county census? I feel really stupid asking that, but it is the only way I know to ask it. I am impressed with the info that the Tidwell and Roden ancestors have amassed, but have seen nothing that indicates who her parents might have been. Any ideas? I need something to obsess about, I guess.
