Hello everyone! I am a direct descendant of William SELF(abt. 1791 - August 3, 1846) & Rebecca WEAR (abt. 1793 - September 23, 1884), who settled & died near Blountsville, AL. William was the son of Isaac & Nancy Self. We have been looking for the burial place of William and Rebecca for several years. I am also a direct descendant of Alexander GRAVES and Druzilla SANDERS, who died in Blount County. Their daughter Aphra/Aphrey/Afria married a Brasher. This is one of my dead ends. I can't find any information on the man she married, James BRASHER. My mother's maiden name was CATO. There have been a few of them in Blount Count over the years and I connect to all of them. My husband's lines include PERRIN, MARSH, CREEL, HUGHES, ELLIOTT, POWELL, MIZE, MULLINS/MULLINGS, SPRUIELL, WRIGHT, LITTLE.
