Henry had quite a few land transactions in Blount Co but the one that I am particularly interested in is recorded in book E, page 245 dated Aug.18. 1843 located in r1w township 14, section 8, it is 80 acres, the east half of the northwest fourth of section 8. the land was sold to Gilbert Barton for $300.00 and the deed also stated it was not to be taken into possesion until the death of Henry C Barton.
