Here is what I found: 1860 James Waid 29, born SC living in Calhoun County, wife Sarah, 29 born GA Nancy E. 3, David S., 1, both born in AL. He was a farmer. 1930 cenus show a James A Waid living in the Highlands district of Blount Co. James A Waid 72 Ida 56 Annie R. 31 James A. jr 26 Adam S 23 not real sure this the right name, it was hard to read Orellia 21 Ida M. 17 Lonie or Lanie 6 male Hope this helps, 1870 is not indexed so I skipped it.
