RUBEN DIAL (DYLE) was my g grandfather and he married NANCY ANN PERMELIA JOHNSON, daughter of WILLIAM HENRY JOHNSON and LEVINA YEILDING in 1879 in ONEONTA, Blount Co., Al. On the 1880 CULLMAN cO, aL census they are living at KOENIG BEAT 3 I have not been able to find him after this. but I am assuming he died before 1884 because NANCY ANN REMARRIED to M L MILLER in Blount Co, 1884. Seems like my grandmother told me years ago that a tree fell on him. Would that more than likely have made the newspapers? The last record I can find of NANCY ANN is that she is in the household as wife (2yrs) of JOHN W GILPIN , beat# 1, Jasper, Al. 1900 census.
