David, I didn't find a whole lot in my library here at the house. Something I did come across. The 1860 census indicated he owned real estate. There are 2 entries in the 1855 Tract Book. You'd actually have to look at the tract to get the reference. I looked at the BLM page and found a few listings for a John Allison. David, If he owned real estate, there should be some record of what happened to it when he died. Even if he didn't have a will, there should be an estate settlement.
