Hello Blount County Researchers, Just added to the site: Nixon Chapel Cemetery. Nixon Chapel is about a mile inside Marshall County, but many of the people buried there have their roots in Blount County. At least two of the men in the 1907 Blount County Confederate Census are buried at Nixon Chapel. Nixon Chapel Cemetery will be included as a bonus cemetery in the soon to be published Volume 3 of the Blount County Cemeteries.
