Just a clarification of "Miss" M. A. Yeilding. This was Mary Amanda Humphries, whose first husband was Joseph Yeilding. No one really knows what happened to Joseph Yeilding except that he never returned from the Civil War...so was presumed dead. Then Mary Amanda (Humphies) Yeilding married A. J. Ketchum.
