    3. Hi all! I have been on the list for a while. My lines are the Murphrees, Bynums, Clowdus lines that all intermarried amongst myself. I am my own 7th cousin and I was very disturbed to find that my own mother was my 6th cousin once removed. We have some other relatives who are even closer related! I don't post much about these lines because I have the Bynum books, Vol 1 and 2. The ancestry is mostly done in there. My husband's line is through Doctor Graves who came to Blount County from North Carolina. He and his wife are buried in Graves Gap Cemetery along with every other member of this line. I haven't done much work on the Graves yet. I did glance through the book about the history of Blount County that is in the library and found some Graves in there, but I haven't done enough research on them to know how or if they are related. My husband's grandmother is a daughter of Silas Graves and Mary Etta Reed. Silas was a son of Clements Graves and Liatha Arrean "Renie" Whaley. Clements is the only child that I know of that belonged to Doctor and Ann ??? Graves. Again, I haven't researched them out yet. I got really heavy into the Kilgore/Blair/LeCroy families (who moved into the County Line/Trafford area) over the summer, so I guess the Graves families will be next summer. That is, of course, unless I run across some info that sparks my initiative again. School keeps me very busy, but I still read other people's posts....just in case they are related in some way. Thanks! My paternal grandfather Elias Monroe Thomas married Martha Jane [Thomas] Thomas. She was the daughter of William Maybry Thomas and Mary Ann [Rouse] Thomas. I have not yet been able to trace back far enough to see if and where those two Thomas lines converged. All four are buried at Peep Crack [Stewart's Chapel] between Warrior and Hayden.
