My husband is a direct descendant of Robert Marsh who married Nancy Caldwell in Blount County, AL on September 16, 1825 through their son Christopher Columbus Marsh, his son - Oliver Milton Marsh, his son - Early Houston Marsh. Early was my husband's grandfather. He is also a direct descendant of William Milton Mullings & Abigail Parsons through their daughter, Susan Evelyn Mullings who married Christopher Columbus Marsh. I had a great aunt named Frances Idora Helms who married a Fred Marsh from Blount County. She had a brother named Early Lee Helms, and a grandfather named Christopher Columbus Helms. Do you think there is a relation? The names made me wonder.
