    2. Hi, I am looking for a Sarah Jennie Mae Sanders b. 1860-61 in Ala and married Elijah MacHendrick Amerson in 1878. They married in Hamilton Co, TN and returned to Blount Co. Do not know why they married there. I don't think she was from there but might have been living there at that time. Are there any Sanders researchers out there that have Blount Co roots (there were 3 or 4 Sanders families in Blount) that might know this lady ???? Thanks, Robin Amerson

    3. http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/ Go to this page. Do a search for Absalom Thompson. You'll find that he purchased land in 1857. This is probably where they were living when she died in 1859. http://www.dot.state.al.us/Bureau/Equipment/maps.HTM You can purchase Township/range maps for Alabama counties for $1.35 from this page. Use these maps to locate the land descriptions from the Bureau of Land Management page. These two sources indicate the land in the western in of the county, north of Smokerise. The intersection of Rock Springs Road and Ward Road is in the northern two-thirds of the property. If you have a source, it looks like Harrell Cem. may be the closest cemetery. But as far as Kendalville, no clue. Sorry.
