Both descend from Adam & Eliz. Smith. One was son of Adam & Eliz. & the other may be child of Adam & Eliz.'s son, John Smith, b.1792 & married to Catherine Cost. Their known children are: Patsy,John Jr.,Tempi, & Susan.1850 Bibb Co. Census. I believe "my"Enoch Smith, is son of Adam & Eliz.Smith, & my GGGrandfather, married to Eliz.Coker. However, I am not sure. On 1870 BakerCo.Chestnut Cr. Is John Smith & children nearby is Enoch Smith, Eliz. Coker & ch. 1870 Census Bibb Co.Briarfield is Enock Smith, Eliza Ford Smith, children Lee and Charles. This Enock 1st married to Mary Bruce 1844 & married to Harriet/Eliza Ford in 1862. He is buried in Briarfield, in unmarked grave. Can someone help me to learn who is the Father of each Enock/Enoch? There are several of us researchers who have been trying to learn this, for several years. On 1830 Census shows Adam Smith, and nx.door is Wm. Coker, Father of Elizabeth Coker, who married Enoch Smith, son of Adam Smith.
