Does anyone know the history of the Duff Quarters/Settlement. How did it become it's own little community. What is the history behind this section of town. It seems that a lot of former slaves migrated to this settlement. Does anyone know why? Any information is appreciated. What area of town is this settlement. Is it old Duff, Avery, or Clark land?
