Hello., Yes, I would like a copy of the survey map. It is nice to deal with the people on the ALBIBB page as they are so helpful and generous. Thanks fo yours. Mail to: ALKEIJO@webtv.net (Note: Have been away from genealogy for some few years and have missed out on a lot of help and information, but have decided to give it another go. Hunting for information on "Hardy Johnson" who has become a "Brickwall" for information! He supposedly is the father of Stephen (?) Johnson, father of A.M., J.W., D.A., A.E., S.L., (the males), and C., M.F., M., (The females). again thanks Keith
I emailed Ingrid off list just a day or so ago and asked her to contact Deb Haines, web master for Bibb, to see if the map is the size that can be scanned and put on the web site. Haven't heard back from her yet. I posted to the list a few weeks ago the following information about land books that can be ordered from: Bill and Sue Tubbs, 437 Battle Creek Rd. Jasper, AL 35003. 205-387-2374 billtubb@tds.net The Bibb book is $30. Books are available for all counties. The web site is http://www.geocities.com/ancestral_homesteads/ . The Autauga Genealogical Society has ordered several county books for our local library. Another source for land books is http://www.arphax.com/samples.html . I haven't seen these books but may order a couple to compare and put in our local library. Caroline Horton, List Administrator
