My Mother graduated from there in 1940 when it was still the high school. When we drove out of town last Tuesday I called it to my husband's attention. It was always the best looking property in Centreville. Most people don't travel up onto the hill to see the courthouse. I hope they take good care of that. I hate to say it, but I bet it was arson by someone who didn't want their tax dollars spent preserving it. It's just to sad that it is gone.
