I found 79 search results last night at the Internet Archive for the AL Supreme Court "Reports of Cases..". The full books have been scanned. http://www.archive.org/details/texts In the search box type: reports of cases alabama In the media type box, select: text and American Libraries Click on a link from the search results list. You can view the table of contents or search the book's contents by clicking on the image of the book. You can also download these books to your computer if you find a case that involves your ancestor. These court case books usually include disputes of: land, loans, business partnerships, wills, etc. Some of the cases are quite lengthy while others provide very little information. If you are looking for other locations, replace Alabama with another state or omit Alabama in the search box. They are a great resource tool for genealogists! Good luck!! Deb
