Liz, I was reading your message to Beverly and saw my ancestors name, Estate of John Smith. Do you know the year of the Unions Army march to Selma. I was trying to find this in Nat. Archives & they usually want a yr(or timeline) to search in. Do you know the year? I believe this John Smith to be my GGGGrandfather, and would like to try and order this. I did look in Clayton Library, Houston, and said the book Southern Loyalists was out of print & one would have to sign up to try and see a copy?? Do you know of other Libraries who might have it? I live in Tarrant Co., TX. Any info appreciated, as I have been looking for info on this GGGGrandfather.
