I am looking to see if they also had a son, Enoch? On the 1840 Census Bibb Co. shows John Smith, HOH with 2 sons & 3 dau. I have an Enoch Smith as GGGrandfather, & not sure who his parents were. There was an Enoch Smith, that was son of Adam and Eliz. Gomer Smith, but now have been told he was not my GG Grandfather. I am hoping the Cost descendents might be able to provide me with info. on family of John & Catherine Cost Smith. On the 1850 & 1870 Census, shows John & Catherine Smith and beside & nearby on 1870, are living Enoch & Eliz. Coker Smith(my G.G.Grandmother)This is another reason I think Enoch is their son.
