Sorry I have not ran across the surname Long in my research. However, I will keep my eye out for any thing I see as per your email and notify you if I find anything. If you would please let me know if you run across any of the following Surnames in that area of Alalabama; Broadhead, Bonner, Boney, Sturdivant, Mixon I would greatly appreciate the help. Most of those families migrated from Georgia and Tennessee.
