The following email was sent to me via my website, but I am not connected to any of the folks mentioned. I thought I would past this along to see if any of the other Brown researchers can help. I am trying to determine the children of James Manley "Buck" Brown and Elizabeth "Betsy" Nichols and any information on the family. I am descended from John K. Nichols, brother to Elizabeth Nichols, of Perry County. My life goal appears to be to put names to the 35 unmarked graves in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery north of Marion. I know that John M. Brown was living with John K. Nichols in the 1850 census in Perry County., is he a child of James M. and Elizabeth Brown? His first wife Sarah "Sallie" Powell and his son Andrew are buried in the cemetery. Then he married Matilda Nichols and moved to LA as well as with Rial G. Brown. There was also an Elizabeth Brown living with George and Lucretia Brown Boykin in the 1870 and 1880 census of Perry County, who all three may be buried there. Any help or directions to go hunt would be greatly appreciated.
