    1. [ALBIBB] Belcher Question
    2. I recently ran across a geocities website done by a Harold Belcher. It has descendants from Alfred Buford Belcher. When it gets to down to my family, the information is wrong and I would love to get it cleared up. The obituary that ran when my father died was totally wrong. It was reprinted by the paper two days later but apparently, a lot of people rely on the obits that are originally printed. When doing research and using obits, keep in mind that the obit is only as accurate as the person at the paper who put it together. In my dads case, I'm listed as his sister and his oldest grandchildren are listed as his kids. Thanks! Julie Belcher-Loveless **************It's Tax Time! 3. Julie, I am glad you wrote. Perhaps you can clear up some questions I have had for many years.\ When I was in Bibb County, I met Jimmie. (His brother, whose name I regrettably cannot remember at this moment, but he was very active on the list....and Jimmie Belchers brother). Jimmie was helping me find Avery Cemetery, and I asked about Belcher Lumber. He said: We are not that Belcher. Can you tell me more about Jimmie and his brother, and their parents. I know the one I cannot remember sent me a lot of info, as we were cousins via Harriet Logan Jones, and there was another line that I do not recall at the moment. thank you. And a great guy. Much of his knowledge is in the Bibb list archives as well as the web page. Caroline

    3. Thank you so much, Caroline. Herman. I will write it somewhere so as not to forget. We exchanged a lot of emails, and he was very helpful, both to me and Laura (Bitsy) Logan (now deceased as well). thank you again. He was a great guy. don ----- Original Message ----- From: "caroline" <carolineh@knology.net> To: <albibb@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, April 14, 2008 8:48 AM Subject: Re: [ALBIBB] Belcher Question > >When I was in Bibb County, I met Jimmie.
