There is a nice community center there now available for rental. Like you, after reading McCords book, I decided one day to hike down the creek to search for the cemetery. I did not get to far! I mentioned the cemetery to my father, who grew up and now lives in Six Mile, and he got permission for us to visit the cemetery.
