She was listed on the marriage license as Miss M M Beasley. She died 18 Sept. 1885, 2 years after the birth of their last child. Andrew Jesse Smitherman married 2nd the widow Rose Ann Milam Smitherman. Rose Ann Milam married 1st Andrew M "Ander" Smitherman [son of Andrew White Smitherman and Surina Jane Johnson] on 8 March 1877 in Bibb Co., Al. Andrew M Smitherman was born 27 January 1856 and died 22 April 1884. Children of ANDREW JESSE "Big Jesse" SMITHERMAN and Mary M Beasley. 1. Newton Smitherman 2.
