AL was Eatablished in 1817 Orginal name Carlton Hill M Bap Ch. Now on Al hwy # 25 Bibb Co about 3 miles from my house is the present day Carlton Hill m. bap. Ch.. It is said that 11 families were the founder of Cahaba Valley Baptist and the 4 black families broke and made their own church.... I personally do not have any document to this affect but have access to both church.. Cahaba Valley is a white church but I have never known them to turn anyone away.
